How do I log in?

  1. Type in the web address into your web browser's address bar: http://www.buyandhold.com/
  2. Click on the "LOGIN" tab found at the upper right hand corner.
  3. Enter your username and password in lower case letters.

Do I need my Cookies enabled?

To open and access your account online, your browser must accept all cookies. We use cookies to establish a user session while you are on our site. Your usage is tracked so if needed, we can modify the site according to your usage. This is used to make the information you are looking for easier to find in the future, as well as maintain our quality of service standards by having enough hardware, software, and personnel supporting the website. Can I use a Search Engine or Bookmark/Favorite to connect to the site?

BUYandHOLD does not recommend using search engines and bookmarks/favorites because we update our site on a regular basis and you may be linked to an old web page. Please type in the web address (http://www.buyandhold.com/) in the address bar of the browser and follow the login instructions.

Can I access my BUYandHOLD account from work?

If you are using our website from work, there are additional factors that may prevent you from getting through. Some companies have a FIREWALL, which prevents you from going to certain websites. Some companies also turn off COOKIES in the web browser, which is required in order to log onto our website.

If you are using Internet Explorer version 6 or higher you need to change the privacy settings. To change your privacy settings: In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the Privacy tab, move the slider down for a lower level of privacy. Please maintain it at Medium in order to gain access to BUYandHOLD's secure portion of the site. Close Internet Explorer and reopen it. Type in http://www.BUYandHOLD.com and try again to login.

How do I SETUP Internet Explorer?

If you are using Internet Explorer version 6 or higher, click TOOLS, INTERNET OPTIONS, CLEAR HISTORY and click OK, click DELETE COOKIES and click OK, DELETE FILES click OK, then click DELETE FILES, select DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENTS and click OK. Click ADVANCED and make sure SSL 2.0 and 3.0 are checked. Click OK to exit this window. Close Internet Explorer and reopen it. Type in http://www.BUYandHOLD.com and try again to login.

Which version of AOL is compatible with BUYandHOLD?

How do I clear my browser cache?

AOL's built-in browser temporarily stores images and text from World Wide Web pages on your hard drive in a storage area called a cache. When the cache fills up, performance can slow down, and your hard drive may run out of space.

To clear the browser cache follow these steps:

1. On the Settings menu on the AOL toolbar, click Preferences.
2. In the Organization section of the Preferences window, click Internet Properties (WWW).
3. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files.
4. Click OK.

Where can I find help when I need it on AOL?

Help is available on the AOL service through AOL's built-in browser. There are many areas that can help you with all of your questions and needs. The next time you are in need of assistance try any of the following areas within AOL's built-in browser Keyword: Quick Help, Keyword: Help, Keyword: Customer Service or the Computing Channel.
