What is the Balance and Holdings screen?

The Balance and Holdings screen reflects all of your holdings (including securities and cash). You will be able to review company information, dividend reinvestment status, E-ZVest status, share amount, 20 minutes delayed - current price per share (please note that this page does not provide the closing prices for the day), current market value, the change in the market value for the day, your average purchase price for a given security, and the gain/loss of a particular investment. You will also be able to determine your total portfolio market vaule and total gain/loss.

How do I view my Balance and Holdings?

To view your BALANCE andHOLDINGS, please follow the directions below:

  1. Log into your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW."
  3. Click "BALANCE AND HOLDINGS," under Details.

Transaction History
 

What is the Transaction History screen?

The Transaction History screen reflects any transactions made in your account. This includes any BUYs, SELLs, Deposits, Withdrawals, fees, dividend pay outs and reorg issues.

How do I view my Transaction History?

To view your Transaction History, please follow the directions below:

  1. Log into your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW."
  3. Click "TRANSACTION HISTORY," under Details.
  4. Use the resort feature at the top of the page to review the dates in question.

How do I view specific information on the Transaction History screen?

The Transaction History screen allows you to resort the page by: Execution Date, Description, Symbol, and Company. In order to use the resort feature please follow the directions below:

  1. Log into your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW."
  3. Click "TRANSACTION HISTORY," under Details.
  4. Use the drop down tool bar to select how you wish to sort the page (Execution Date, Description, Symbol, and Company).
  5. Click "RESORT"

Pending Activity
 

What is the Pending Activity screen?

The Pending Activity screen reflects any transactions that have not been executed or posted in your account, including: BUYs, SELLs, Deposits, and Withdrawals.

How do I view Pending Activities?

To view your PENDING ACTIVITY, simply do the following:

  1. Log into your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW" under Click to View.
  3. Click "PENDING ACTIVITY," under Trade.

Can I change or cancel my pending transactions?

  1. Log into your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW" under "Click to View".
  3. Click "PENDING ACTIVITY," under Trade.
  4. Click "CHANGE or CANCEL." If you select CHANGE, make the change and click "SAVE CHANGES." If you select CANCEL, click "CANCEL TRANSACTION."

Once the order has been processed, it may still show up in PENDING ACTIVITIES, but you will not be able to change or cancel it. Cancelations are made on a best-effort basis

Window trade orders can only be canceled prior to the commencement of that trading session.

All executed orders are binding.

To cancel a real-time trade if the desired stock is not trading or is halted, please call 1-800-646-8212.

Monthly Statements
 

How are Monthly Statements sent out?

Monthly Statements are sent out via email to each account holder. You will be asked to click on a username and password protected link in the email in order to view the Monthly Statement. Some email applications have difficulties with links in emails. If you are experiencing problems with the link please view the Monthly Statement in your account.

How can I view my Monthly Statement?

In order to access your Monthly statement, simply do the following:

  1. Login to your account at: http://www.buyandhold.com
  2. Click "VIEW."
  3. Click "MONTHLY STATEMENTS," under Details.
  4. Resort to the month you want to list the statement for.
  5. Click "CONTINUE."
  6. Click "VIEW" to the right of the month you wish to view.

How do I print Monthly Statements?

In order to print your Monthly Statements simply open the statement and click on the print button in your web browser. If your printer fails to print the complete statement please change the size of your text in your browser.

In Internet Explorer, you can change your font size by clicking on VIEW, TEXT SIZE, then select the font size.

In Netscape Navigator, you can increase font size by clicking on CTRL + ]. You can decrease the font size by clicking on CTRL + [.

In AOL 5, you can change the font size by clicking MY AOL, PREFERENCES, FONTS, change the size, and click OK.

Order Confirmations
 


How are Order Confirmations sent out?

Order Confirmations are sent out via email to each account holder. You will be asked to click on a username and password protected link in the email in order to view the Order Confirmation.   4. Resort the Transaction History to show the date when the orders took place.
  5. On the right-hand column, click "VIEW."

How do I print Order Confirmations?
