New York State is #3 among states for birthplace of presidents.  Virginia is #1 with eight.  Ohio is #2 with seven.  Massachusetts is tied with New York, both with four.  The four from New York are Martin Van Buren, Millard Fillmore, and Theodore and Franklin Roosevelt.

New York City is home to 43 Fortune 500 companies, compared with 25 in Houston.  Chicago and Dallas are tied for the third position, with 12 each.
